My youngest daughter doesn’t so much come up with bedtime stories as she does “say awesome things that make me think of bedtime stories.” She’s relentless in her kid-isms and the first lines in this story are ones we heard her telling her babies one day. The rest just seemed to fit.

“I love you Mommy.
I love you Daddy.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you Mommy.
I love you Mommy.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you Daddy.
I love you Daddy.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you Mommy.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you Daddy.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you grandpa.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you grandma.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you Chris.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you Erica.
So that means sweet dreams.”

“I love you kitty.
And you’re who I have
So that means sweet dreams.”

“Thank you imagination.
For letting me have sweet dreams.
You’re who I have.”
